via Brooklyn-Queens Expressway or FDR Drive to Triboro Bridge to the Bronx: Bear right for the Bruckner Expressway
At split to Sheridan Expressway, bear left to New England Thruway (I-95)
Exit at Pelham Parkway West exit
Proceed on Pelham Parkway westbound driving past JMC (hospital will be visible on your left) to Williamsbridge Road
U-turn into eastbound service road
Turn right into main Jacobi entrance.
From Brooklyn, Queens or Long Island via Whitestone Bridge:
Proceed to Hutchinson River Parkway to Pelham Parkway West exit.
Proceed on Pelham Parkway westbound driving past JMC (hospital will be visible on your left) to Williamsbridge Road
U-turn into eastbound service road
Turn right into main Jacobi entrance.
From Brooklyn, Queens, or Long Island via Throgs Neck Bridge to New England Thruway (I-95):
Take Pelham Parkway West exit
Proceed on Pelham Parkway westbound driving past JMC (hospital will be visible on your left) to Williamsbridge Road
U-turn into eastbound service road
Turn right into main Jacobi entrance.
From Westchester
West side of county:
Saw Mill River Parkway south to Cross County Parkway East to Bronx River Parkway
Take Pelham Parkway exit
Follow Pelham Parkway eastbound
Switch to service lanes as you approach intersection of Willimasbridge Road
Proceed through intersection and turn into main Jacobi entrance.
East side of county:
Hutchinson River Parkway South to Pelham Parkway Westbound exit
Proceed on Pelham Parkway westbound driving past JMC (hospital will be visible on your left) to Williamsbridge Road
U-turn into eastbound service road
Turn right into main Jacobi entrance.
From New Jersey
via George Washington Bridge to Cross-Bronx Expressway:
Follow signs to Bronx River Parkway North
Take Pelham Parkway exit
Follow Pelham Parkway eastbound
Switch to service lanes as you approach intersection of Willimasbridge Road
Proceed through intersection and turn into main Jacobi entrance.
Parking
There are three parking lots available for visitor use on Jacobi Medical Center grounds across from buildings #6 and #8.
Parking Costs $5.
To enter the parking lot a $5 bill or five $1 bills is required to open the automatic gates.
By Subway and Bus
IRT EAST SIDE: # 5 Train
Take the No. 5 Dyre Ave. train uptown/North to the Bronx.
Get off at the Pelham Parkway/Esplanade stop.
Walk one block from the station to Pelham Parkway - a six-lane, tree-lined parkway.
Cross to the opposite side of the Parkway (from North to South)
Take the Number 12 bus eastbound to Jacobi Medical Center.
Or walk about 8 blocks east along the Pelham Parkway South Service Road to the hospital.
IRT WEST SIDE: # 2 Train
Take the No. 2 White Plains Road/241st St. train uptown/north to the Bronx.
Get off at Pelham Parkway, and use the exit at the rear of the station.
On Pelham Parkway South take the Number 12 bus (eastbound) to Jacobi Hospital.
The bus ride will take about 10 minutes - about 1 and 1/2 miles.
The bus stops by the main entrance to Jacobi Medical Center, near building #1.
IND 6th Avenue: # D Train
Take the D train North to the Bronx.
Get off at Fordham Road (Grand Concourse).
Take the No. 12 bus on the South side of Fordham Road directly to Jacobi Medical Center. (eastbound - about 3 miles).
Express Bus
MTA BUS BxM10. (This bus runs up Madison Avenue and down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan).
Get off at Eastchester Road and Pelham Parkway. Cross Eastchester Road and walk one block on Pelham Parkway South to Main Entrance of Jacobi Medical Center.
