Statement of Intent
The focus of this residency is to train "Super" General Dentists. Residents provide comprehensive care to all patients and are exposed to the entire spectrum of dentistry including; restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthetics, interceptive orthodontics with fixed and removable appliances, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and endodontics. Residents will gain experience treating a patient population that includes medically compromised and special adult and children patients in addition to community residents who utilize the hospital for their health services.
